Find ways to accomplish the city's needs and goals by finding alternatives with a lower price tag. Focus on repairing roads, public safety, and core services that matter, while avoiding costly upgrades that increase the budget.
Avoid Raising Franchise Fees on Gas and Electric
Local Taxes are deductible from our State and Federal Income Tax, Franchise Fees are not. So Why have them? Because they avoid the word "Tax" while still hitting our wallets!
Transparency
I've been told all the information I have asked for is on the City's website, but the website is in shambles. Menu Items work on desktops but not mobile devices, or not at all. And when you finally find out 10 year plan, budget items are a few words, with no details.
