We Need transparency on $8,000 ebikes for the Police Department!

We Need answers about $130 THOUSAND dollars for 1 Lawn Mower?

Did you know we spent around $800 Thousand Dollars to plant Trees and Beautify Broadway?

Absolutely against the proposed $40 Million Dollar Public Works Building?

It's Time to Change How Forest Lake spends OUR money!

Vote4Jamie in November for City Council!

Meet Jamie

The AI website builder wanted this to be in the third person, but I'm not some well funded politician with a team writing for me. I'm your Neighbor, and have been since I moved here in November of 2021. I'm a Karaoke Enthusiast, Electrician, and Problem-Solver. I believe Forest Lake deserves careful spending, safe neighborhoods, and transparent city government. I am running to bring new perspective, experience and accountability to City Hall. Not because our current leaders are trying to hurt us or do anything wrong, but because together I believe we can improve our community and keep our costs under control. I'm not running for City Council for the Glory and Adoration, I'm running because I think I can contribute.

Experience

I moved to Minnesota in 2019 to join the Ironworkers Union. While with Local 512, I spent years on jobs from Nuclear plants to Wind Farms, the Gas Refinery, and commercial and office buildings! In 2023 I switched careers to join IBEW Local 292 as an Electrician. I believe I can bring new perspective and evaluate projects, with an eye for keeping the budget in check.

Vision for Forest Lake

A city that supports public safety, maintains roads and parks, and treats every taxpayer dollar with respect. Providing our city employees the tools and erquipment they need to get the job done, and to be safe doing it,  without going over the top. We can't and shouldn't stop improving our city, but we can do it responsibly and within our means.
